The objective of the project is to develop tools for bathing managers in waters soft / interior, dam operators tools that will allow them to :
- Predict episodes at risk
- Monitor water quality in real time
- Make this information available to users
- To accumulate data which will make it possible in the long run to remove pollution
This tool will be based on a coupling of data from measurements carried out continuously in the water body and watershed scale weather records.
The EAUGURE 2 project is structured around 3 axes:
- Axe 1 : Validation of existing data,
- Axe 2 : Spatio-temporal representation of water quality and meteorological data,
- Axis 3 : Development of a decision support system for water quality monitoring of swimming and help control sources of contamination.

Economic benefits
The project must enable the companies in the consortium to propose a new commercial offer to the managers of water bodies, initially in France and if the market allows it in a second time in Europe.

VEODIS-3D wishes to extend its expertise in bathymetric surveys in difficult to access environments and and strengthen its position on studies of lake environments. This project will allow the development of a new approach of integrated measures coupling at the same time bathymetric surveys and real-time monitoring of water body quality.
