ATHOS environment
SAS ATHOS environnement, created in 2002, is specialized in engineering and metrology of aquatic environments
continental. The design office is supported by a laboratory of the CNRS and the University of Clermont Auvergne. ATHOS
environment develops technical solutions within the framework of calls for scientific projects with
academic laboratories and offers its clients tailor-made, high-tech services from the following sources
latest research developments.
Study of hydrosystems:
- Hydrobiology: biological indices, scientific fisheries counts phytoplankton, cyanobacteria and zooplankton
- Hydromorphology: study of fish continuity, identification of flow facies, spawning grounds, AMI, DMB
- Limnology: rapid diagnosis, followed by DCE
- Metrology: continuous monitoring of water quality during work or emptying, monitoring of flows, water levels
- Study of lake sediments : Coring, sampling, counting of cyanobacteria (microcystis colonies, akinetes)
Research and Development: involvement in research programs (collaboration with the University of Clermont Auvergne, CNRS, lRSN...)
Watershed study: cartography, GIS, land management...
Regulatory files: Bathing profiles, natural and technological risks status file
Our main customers are major groups (EDF, SNCF, Vinci), public institutions (CNRS, ARS, Water Agency, IRSN, EPL) and local authoritiesLaboratoire de Mathématiques Blaise Pascal (LMBP)
The Blaise Pascal Mathematics Laboratory is the main public research centre in mathematics of the Auvergne region. It is a Joint Research Unit of the University of Clermont Auvergne and the CNRS (UMR 6620). The laboratory houses four teams in fundamental and applied mathematics. Areas of expertise cover a wide spectrum: partial differential equations and numerical analysis; geometry, algebra, algebra of operators; probabilities, analysis and statistics; number theory. The members of the laboratory make an essential contribution to the mathematics training courses at the University of Clermont Auvergne, organised within the Mathematics UFR. The laboratory participates in the dissemination of mathematics to a non-expert audience, in particular in collaboration with the Institut de recherche sur l'enseignement des mathématiques. The laboratory is structured into four research teams:
- Partial differential equations and numerical analysis
- Geometry, algebra, operator algebras
- Probabilities, analysis and statistics
- Number theory
VEODIS-3D
VEODIS-3D is a design office created in 2009 in environmental engineering and metrology. Research firm whose expertise comes from the know-how acquired within a CNRS research laboratory, VEODIS-3D offers two types of complementary services ranging from the development of the collection protocol from data to the implementation of environmental monitoring over several years, including the diagnosis and recommendations for intervention:
- Campaigns for topographic, bathymetric and cartographic measurements,
- Sedimentary analyses: sampling and granulometry
- Geomorphological studies, sedimentary continuity, impact studies and diagnostics
- Solid transport studies: diagnosis, implementation of tracking by RFID transponder Implementation of environmental monitoring: filling, cubatures, impacts of hydraulic structures.
Our main clients are large groups (EDF, Antéa, IRH, Guintoli, VNF, Merlin), smaller offices studies with which we work in co or subcontracting (ATHOS environnement, Cité Ingénierie, and the local authorities (EPTB Loire, Saône-Doubs, SMEAG, St Etienne Métropole, Clermont-Métropole, CEN, Parc, etc.).
WEATHER MEASURES
WEATHER MEASURES was created in 2015 to meet an unmet need in the meteorological market in France: the optimization of a weather-sensitive activity through the implementation of precision meteorology on a fine spatial and temporal scale. Today, it has a team of seven people. WEATHER MEASURES offers a "turnkey" service to provide high-resolution and spatialized data to all its customers targets and customers, and enhances weather data by controlling the entire value chain. WEATHER MEASURES supports its clients in all aspects of a meteorological project:
- Meteorological strategy advice
- Integration, processing, control, calibration, valuation and data provision
- Audit of meteorological devices and data
- Installation, maintenance of equipment
- Training, coaching
With 6 rain radars installed, WEATHER MEASURES is the leader on the French market in the implementation of
and the operation of high-resolution radars (X-band) in mosaics.
Our multi-source weather data integration technologies and services are used in the field of
agricultural (INRA, Limagrain, Axéréal, Smag) and industrial (Michelin, TOTAL).
